Oppo F3 Plus, launched in March 2017 is priced at Rs. 30,990. Oppo F3 Plus comes with a 6-inch HD display. The Gorilla Glass 5 protected screen is highly saturated and even there is no option to adjust color temperature. The device is 7.4mm thick and weighs only 185grams. It has a sturdy metal unibody and a quick fingerprint sensor. Being a big heavy phone it is not good for single handed usage.
The phone is powered by a 1.95GHz Octa core Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM & 64Gb(expandable up to 256 GB) of internal storage. The device support connectivity options like GPS, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, microUSB port, 4G, dual-SIM, and Bluetooth. The device shows no lag while multitasking or high-end gaming.
On the software front, the Oppo F3 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 on top of it. The UI gives the feel of an ios device which is pretty much common in Chinese phones these days. Pre-installed apps include the Google suite, Google assistant, Instagram, WPS Office, Facebook and much more.
Moving on to the camera, the device comes loaded with a 16MP rear camera with dual PDAF and an f/1.7 aperture. The front camera is a Dual 16 MP + 8 MP camera with their respective apertures being f/2.0 and f/2.4.
The rear camera takes good noise free pictures under low light conditions. The 8MP front camera helps in widening the view to club more people into one picture whereas the other one provides better low light pictures.
Oppo F3 Plus is powered by a non-removable 4000mAh battery, which can easily last a full working day.
This is the first try by Oppo to come under this price range. Other flag ships like OnePlus 3T and Samsung galaxy A5 will easily defeat it by large margins and our prediction is that most of the people would prefer the phones by established companies like Samsung, OnePlus and others. The thing that Oppo F3 Plus lags is value for money due to which it may not get much attention in the market.
